Procurement Manager

We are a well-established contracting company , delivering large-scale building and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities in line with project requirements, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project and corporate procurement strategies in coordination with project teams
  • Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract packages for construction projects
  • Prepare and review procurement plans, material submittal schedules, and long-lead item tracking
  • Identify, prequalify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Lead tendering, bid evaluation, and contract award processes in compliance with company procedures
  • Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and subcontracts in accordance with project schedules
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with specifications
  • Coordinate with planning, construction, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project programs
  • Control procurement budgets, cost optimization, and value engineering initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, FIDIC conditions, and local regulations
  • Manage procurement risks and resolve supply chain issues or claims
  • Prepare procurement reports for senior management and attend meetings with clients and consultants

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8–12 years of procurement experience in construction contracting companies in the Middle East
  • Proven experience in building, infrastructure, or MEP projects
  • Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers and subcontractor markets
  • Experience working on FIDIC-based projects
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with government or large private sector projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP / procurement systems used by contracting companies.
  • Experience in sourcing long-lead and high-value construction materials.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
