About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement operations, vendor management, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of materials and services. This role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the broader supply chain strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and purchase order management.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Track and analyze key supply chain metrics (e.g., supplier performance, lead times, cost savings).
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Production teams to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in the supply chain.
- Assist in demand forecasting and supply planning based on historical data and market trends.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
