Procurement Manager

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Salary: PKR 200,000 – 220,000

Job Overview & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement operations including preparation, approval tracking, and timely closure of all Purchase Orders (including petty cash and emergency demands) with strict compliance to SOPs.
  • Ensure competitive sourcing and cost optimization through strong coordination with production, purchaser, finance, and audit teams.
  • Oversee 100% timely processing and validation of GRNs in SAP and Folderit with accurate handover to Accounts for reconciliation.
  • Monitor daily production reports and proactively manage raw material reserves to prevent stock-outs or operational delays.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of stores, spares, and production entries in SAP within 24–48 hours.
  • Maintain complete oversight of plant inventory, ensuring SOP-compliant storage, accurate tracking of costly items, and weekly variance reporting to management.
  • Lead month-end inventory closures with full reconciliation of inward/outward gate passes and support finance during audit preparation.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready digital and physical documentation including gate passes, lab reports, certifications, NTDC/DISCO correspondence, dispatch records, and compliance files with near-zero discrepancies.
  • Implement structured documentation systems with proper tagging, indexing, and cross-referencing for efficient retrieval and control.
  • Monitor plant-level attendance daily, resolve payroll discrepancies within 1–2 working days, and ensure employee advances are processed by the 20th of each month.
  • Follow up on timely salary disbursement across plants and ensure accurate issuance of employee codes and biweekly record updates.
  • Monitor procurement, production, maintenance, and administrative dashboards daily; escalate risks before close of business.
  • Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly analytical reports to senior management and proactively identify cost leakages or operational gaps.
  • Continuously improve procurement systems, internal controls, documentation standards, and cross-department coordination in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement, inventory, or operations (preferably within manufacturing).
  • Strong SAP knowledge and documentation management expertise.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and cost-control skills.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities.

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs220,000.00 per month
