Your Role

The Contract Manufacturing Procurement Manager (3PM) is responsible for leading the Contract Manufacturing Tea Procurement business across PAMET && EU, in partnership with the Supply Chain organization. This is a high-impact, dynamic role reporting to the Head of Contract Manufacturing and Procurement .

You will manage both external manufacturing partners (spend: €50M) and internal Tea SC teams to support business growth while honoring external commitments. This role requires building and leveraging market knowledge—covering trends, capabilities, strategic shifts, and geopolitical factors—to deliver insights and support strategic decisions (“bringing the outside in”).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy global sourcing strategies at the regional/local level
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners and cross-functional supply chain stakeholders
  • Analyze production costs and develop benchmarks for make-or-buy decisions, in collaboration with the SC and Tea Finance teams
  • Support and co-lead negotiation strategies and executions alongside the Tea SC team
  • Partner with Contract Manufacturing Operations and SC teams on optimization, transformation, and innovation initiatives
  • Deliver on financial targets, including gross margin improvements and cash flow enhancement , using smart buying tools
  • Own procurement fundamentals for designated spend areas:
    • Ensure data consistency and generate insights
    • Maintain stakeholder communication
    • Manage KPIs, contracts, playbooks, and implement digital procurement tools
  • Act as the first point of contact for suppliers involved in transformation projects and transition them into sustainable, ongoing 3PM partnerships
  • Scout for and onboard new suppliers aligned with the strategic direction of the supply chain
  • Serve as the key liaison with cross-functional teams (Quality, R&D, Legal, Finance) to resolve all procurement-related issues with supply chain impact
  • Foster a culture of safety across all supply chain activities

You are a strategic, analytical, and collaborative professional with a strong track record in procurement and stakeholder management. You will be expected to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier and/or customer relationship management
  • Experience managing complex and concurrent projects
  • Proven experience working within cross-functional, multicultural teams
  • Preferred experience in 3PM Procurement ; logistics experience is a plus
