Job Responsibilities:
Oversee sourcing of raw materials, supplier negotiations, contract management, inventory optimization, logistics coordination, and alignment with production needs.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Business/Engineering. 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in packaging or manufacturing industries.
Competencies Required:
Strong negotiation, analytical, leadership, and supplier relationship management skills. Ability to manage complex supply chain structures under tight timelines

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:

Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and services.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and long-term agreements with local and international suppliers.

Monitor global paper and raw material markets to anticipate price trends and supply risks.

Establish supplier evaluation, qualification, and audit processes to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards (FSC, ISO, etc.).
Supply Chain & Logistics:

Oversee inbound logistics (import of kraft paper and other materials) and outbound logistics (export of finished bags to customers).

Monitor key supply chain KPIs (lead times, inventory turnover, order fulfillment, on-time delivery).

Optimize freight, shipping, and customs clearance processes to minimize costs and delays.

Plan monthly production material requirements in coordination with planning and production teams.
Strategic & Operational Management:

Drive cost reduction initiatives across procurement and supply chain.

Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Finance teams to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities.

Establish contingency plans to manage risks (supply disruptions, forex fluctuations, logistics delays).

Manage ERP / SAP systems for procurement and supply chain modules.

Lead, train, and develop a team of buyers, planners, and logistics staff.
