Procurement Officer

Job Details:
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Procurement Officer who is locally available in Qatar to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation, preferably within Group/Holding companies. Immediate availability will be an advantage.

Accountabilities

- Handle procurement function, review prices and quality, discuss and negotiate with different suppliers for the best terms and conditions, quality assurance and supplies control.

- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers

- Making and maintaining a list of approved suppliers, local and international

- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data

- Develops plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies

- Negotiate directly with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options.

- Ensure that the products and supplies are of high quality

- Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

- Working with team members and the Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in supply chain management, logistic, or equivalent

Experience

Must have 2-3 years of related experience in Procurement within the State of Qatar

A Qatar Driving License is an additional advantage.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
