Procurement Sourcing Manager (Banking)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop Sourcing Strategies: Create and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement objectives.
  • Supplier Evaluation & Selection: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.hrblade.com+4arthajobboard.com+4jobs.procurementfoundry.com+4

2. Procurement Process Management

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs, specifications, and requirements.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including environmental and safety requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Audit & Reporting: Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control, and Risk when required.hrblade.comqatarjobs.qa

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Staff Development: Identify development opportunities and activities for staff and facilitate/coach them to improve their effectiveness and prepare them to assume greater responsibilities.
  • Performance Management: Hold meetings with staff and assess their performance and your team's overall performance on a regular basis.
  • Conflict Resolution: Take decisive action to ensure speedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts within the team members.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Process Optimization: Identify and encourage people to adopt practices better than the industry standard.
  • Innovation Encouragement: Encourage, solicit, and reward innovative ideas even in day-to-day issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Set examples by leading improvement initiatives through cross-functional teams ensuring successes.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR16,000.00 per month
