Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for projects. The role ensures cost-effective and timely procurement while adhering to company policies, quality standards, and project timelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive comparison sheet and get approval from the Management.
• Examine each vendor's technical and commercial viability for the project by comparing price, delivery time, brand, payment terms, and specifications.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to achieve best value for the organization
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper records of purchases, contracts, and correspondence
• Issue Purchase Order using Oracle.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers.
• Track and verify deliveries.
• Build professional relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Coordinate with delivery team to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate to end-user for sample approval

Qualifications:

• Diploma /bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience preferred in the construction or contracting industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Diploma /bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field

Experience & Skills:

• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools: ERP system such as Oracle / SAP
