· Procurement & Sourcing
1. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service.
2. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and market trends.
3. Request, review, and analyse quotations, bids, and proposals.
4. Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approval according to company procedures.
· Vendor & Contract Management
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
2. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure the best value.
3. Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations.
4. Resolve vendor disputes, delivery issues, and quality concerns.
· Purchasing Operations
1. Track purchase requisitions and ensure timely procurement of materials/services.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, pricing lists, and supplier information.
3. Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, Warehouse, etc.) to understand purchasing needs.
4. Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
· Cost & Budget Management
1. Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
2. Ensure all purchases stay within approved budgets.
3. Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analyses, and spending summaries.
· Compliance & Documentation
1. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
2. Maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal controls.
3. Develop and implement procurement procedures and best practices.
· Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination
1. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to monitor stock levels and forecast demand.
2. Prevent stock shortages by maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
3. Assist in vendor-managed inventory and replenishment planning.
Technical Skills
· Procurement and purchasing procedures (RFQ, RFP, tendering)
· Contract negotiation
· Supplier/vendor management
· Market research and cost analysis
· Inventory and supply chain knowledge
· ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.)
· Data management and reporting
· Compliance and documentation handling
· Contract drafting and review
· Budget monitoring
· Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
· Logistics coordination and delivery follow-up
Should have 3-5 years of experience in UAE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
