Procurement Officer

We are looking for an experienced construction, fit-out, joinery and etc. procurement officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.

· Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.

· Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

· Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

· Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

· Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

· Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

· Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

· Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

· Qualification & Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory).

2–3 years of proven experience in procurement and purchasing within a contracting company-UAE. (Purchaser in UAE: 2-3+ years (Preferred))

Strong knowledge of infrastructure works, particularly electrical, CIVIL and water projects.

Experience handling LPOs, POs, and LOIs.

Good knowledge of infrastructure material suppliers and vendors.

Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.

Proficient in computer applications (MS Office and procurement systems).

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

Experience in ADM / TAQA Distribution / ADDC projects.

Experience in electrical constructions projects.

Prior work experience within the GCC region.

Salary: To be discussed during the interview, based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
