Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies required for restaurant operations. This includes food ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment, and other operational materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in line with UAE regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies
• Ensure consistent quality of ingredients and compliance with food safety standards
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with kitchen and operations teams
• Place purchase orders and track deliveries to avoid shortages or delays
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Compare prices and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure procurement aligns with budget and company policies
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Handle import procedures if sourcing international products
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety regulations

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2–5 years of procurement experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of food supply chains in the UAE market
• Familiarity with local suppliers and import regulations
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED100.00 - AED200.00 per month
