Procurement Officer

Job Purpose

Procurement is responsible for the support with timely and accurate processing of purchasing orders and transactions.


Key Accountabilities

  • To feed into the development and maintenance of procurement information, guidelines, templates and tools and other useful information to be used.
  • Produce regular reports on supplier/contract performance against agreed measures, which both monitor progress and enable effective decision-making.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts based on procurement guidelines of the corporate and related business owner.
  • Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality requirements as requested by other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
  • Build and collect all data related to procurement function in collaboration with others stakeholders.
  • Pre-qualification of suppliers as provided in the procurement policy.
  • Engaged and support in developing the system with stakeholders when required.
  • Undertake any other duties or assignment as required from time to time by the management.
  • Cost Analysis & Cost Saving.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce.
  • 2 years of work experience in Procurement or any relevant field.
