Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with proven experience in the aluminum and façade industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiating, and securing materials, subcontractor services, and supplies essential for façade and aluminum projects in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement process for aluminum and façade works.
• Prepare inquiries, obtain quotations, and evaluate supplier/subcontractor proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure materials and services comply with project specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and design teams to forecast and fulfill material requirements.
• Maintain and update a supplier/vendor database with pricing and performance records.
• Monitor market trends, alternative materials, and new suppliers for continuous cost optimization.
• Issue purchase orders, draft contracts, and prepare procurement status reports.
• Resolve supplier performance issues and ensure timely delivery of all materials.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred).
• 3–6 years of procurement experience in the aluminum & façade industry (UAE experience highly preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of aluminum systems, curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and façade materials.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred

• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Previous experience with a contracting or façade company in Dubai.
• Strong analytical and cost-control capabilities.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
