Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Engineer with strong experience in the aluminum and façade industry to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle — from sourcing and negotiation to delivery — ensuring all materials and subcontractor services meet project quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for aluminum and façade works.
• Prepare RFQs, collect and evaluate supplier quotations, and conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve optimal value.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and design teams to identify and forecast material requirements.
• Maintain and update the supplier database, including pricing and performance records.
• Monitor market trends, new technologies, and alternative materials for cost optimization and innovation.
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement status reports.
• Ensure on-time material delivery and address any supplier performance or delivery issues promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 3–6 years of experience in procurement within the aluminum and façade industry (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and façade materials.
• Proven skills in negotiation, cost control, and supplier management.
• Familiar with local and international façade material suppliers.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
