- Establish long-term procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals.
- Ensure that procurement decisions align with the company’s sustainability goals, including reducing environmental impact and promoting circular economy principles.
- Identify and develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, including price, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ensure that the organization adheres to including socially responsible and environmentally friendly procurement.
- Stay informed about market trends, new suppliers, emerging technologies, and competitive pricing to make informed decisions.
- reporting on the status of contracts, budgets, and supplier performance.
- Establish and track KPIs for procurement activities to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
- Ensure the timely and accurate creation, tracking, and approval of purchase orders.
- Oversee the execution and management of procurement contracts, ensuring they are in compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
