Procurement Officer – Fit-Out

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer with experience in interior fit-out projects to manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fit-out materials, supplier networks in the GCC, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for fit-out materials including joinery items, timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, glass, metal works, and finishing products.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency and project deadlines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with project specifications and budgets.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to support project and production schedules.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, and project teams to ensure material specifications and requirements are met.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements in collaboration with project teams.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor database.
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and alternative materials within the GCC region.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the GCC, preferably in interior fit-out or construction.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, suppliers, and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid Qatar driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in joinery and bespoke furniture procurement.
• Strong vendor management and cost control capabilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Pay: QAR6,500.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
