Procurement Officer (Maximo ERP Mandatory-Fluent in English, Arabic preferable)

1 Job Purpose

· To develop contract strategy in a close liaison with TO & RO. To help / develop ITT (invitation to tender) documents and suggest suitable terms and conditions to be used for the proposed contract.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare the price segregation schedule according to nature of contract.

· Raise enquiries, solicit tenderer queries and follow till the receipt of tenders.

· Carry out commercial assessment of tenders received and recommend the most competitive contractor keeping in view the technical evaluation.

· Maintain clear communication with all the involve parties and negotiate on price, scope and T&Cs for the benefit to ITM O&M.

· Represent confidently ITM O&M during all the negotiation meetings and in the event of a claim.

· Advise to TO / RO about the contract prices and the budget control.

· Maintain updated and auditable records all the time.

· Initiate the vendor assessment process for the development of preferable contractor.

· Maintain a suitable vendor database and to amend it as and when necessary.

· Perform any other job when ever asked by the seniors.

· Ensure that the activities in the procurement are being carried safely in accordance with the policies and procedure.

· Fulfil the roles and responsibilities for Employees as required in the IMS O&M Manual.

· Applies all HSE Policies and Procedures and continually strives to improve all aspects of HSE Performance;

. If nominated act as IMS Coordinater and/or Department Head assuming the responsibilities defined in the IMS O&M Manual.

. Responsible to immediate Supervisor ensuring compliance with the facility's Environmental Compliance Program taking all reasonable precautions to prevent incidents of non-compliance personally or on the part of others. Shall further be responsible to immediately report to Supervisor any known or suspected violations to the Environmental Program or any suspected situation that could lead to a violation;

· Adheres to ITM's Policies in line with the policies of the owner companies and the law

· Responsible for one's own Health and Safety and that of his/her colleagues in accordance with the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies & Procedures of the Company;

· No tolerance for unsafe conditions or unsafe acts;

· Use stop work authority when observing an unsafe condition or unsafe act;

· Lives the values of ITM;

· Promotes open, honest and positive communication;

· Respects each other as well as the cultural diversity within ITM;

· Maintain the high standard of ITM;

· Promote and instill cooperation and leadership;

· Comply with the requirement of Business Continuity Management of ITM

. Develop and implement the Business Continuity action card

· Fire Prevention Inspection Upon receipt of a Fire Prevention Inspection Report; ensure that all noted issues and concerns are corrected as appropriate.

· Hazardous Material and Waste Management: Inform employees and contractors that hazardous materials and hazardous waste, except as expressly authorized by regulations may not be disposed of via the sewer system, regular trash, fume hoods or other unsafe or

environmentally damaging routes; and to stress the importance of proper hazardous material/waste management. Ensure 3R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) during purchasing materials.

2 Minimum qualification and experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain or equilvent degree.

Experience

· Minimum of 3 years purchasing experience in Procurement and warehouse.

License / Others

· CIPS is prefarble.

3 Competencies

· Good knowledge of purchase principles and processes.

· Maximo ERP Mandatory

· Self driven.

· A team player.

· Good communicator.

· Process industry experience.

· Organised and possess good IT skills, preferably competent with MS Word, Excel and Access.

4 Physical Effort

· Primarily an office based position; however, some activity is required in the field.

5 Reporting Hierarchy

Direct: Procurement Manager

6 Work Environment

90% in A/C office work.

10% working in field.

7 Language

· Fluent in English, Arabic preferable

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi)
