Procurement Officer- Mirage Property Consultants

Doha, Qatar

Job Purpose

· As a Procurement Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day procurement operations. You will handle procurement function, review prices and quality, discuss and negotiate with different suppliers for best terms and conditions, quality assurance and supplies control.

· For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.

Key Relationships

Internal:

· MIPC’s departments and Artan’s subsidiaries

External:

· International and local Vendors, Governmental sectors

Accountabilities

· Maintain all filling of procurement dept.

· Maintain all assets assigned to him or put under his custody (such as; laptops, mobile phones, sim cards, etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities

· Handle procurement function, review prices and quality, discuss and negotiate with different suppliers for best terms and conditions, quality assurance and supplies control.

· Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers

· Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment

· Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data

· Develops plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies

· Negotiate directly with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options.

· Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality

· Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

· Working with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed

· Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned from time to time based on business requirements.

Education & Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or equivalent

Experience

· Must have minimum 2 years related experience in Procurement within The State of Qatar

· Must have a Valid Qatar Driving License

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR6,000.00 per month
