The Procurement resource will oversee the entire procurement and bidding process for government and corporate contracts, ensuring compliance with all submission requirements. This role is responsible for coordinating bids, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and accurate bid submissions to maximize business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end bidding process for IT equipment, specifically laptops, in response to published tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Understand and interpret bidding documents, submission requirements, and compliance criteria for U.S.-based corporate and government contracts.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost and quality for procurement bids.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, logistics) to prepare bid documents and pricing proposals.
  • Liaise directly with clients or procurement officers to clarify requirements and respond to bid queries.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids following established procedures and formats.
  • Monitor and analyze bid outcomes to refine bidding strategies for future tenders.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts post-bid award in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of bid submissions, correspondence, and contract documentation.
  • Stay updated on procurement regulations, market trends, and competitor activities in the IT hardware sector.

Required Expertise:

  • Proven experience in procurement and bid management, preferably in IT hardware or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with U.S. corporate and government bidding processes, including electronic submission portals and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, supply chain management, and vendor relations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze bid documents and translate requirements into actionable procurement plans.
  • Proficiency using MS Office, procurement software, and ERP systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields preferred.
