Key Responsibilities

Lead the procurement cycle for construction projects from requisition to contract award.

Identify, prequalify, and develop a pool of reliable construction vendors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.

Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, analyze bids, and recommend best-value suppliers.

Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimize value and reduce risks.

Draft and review contracts in coordination with the legal and technical departments.

Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, and Finance to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.

Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation in ERP systems.

Conduct market analysis to benchmark prices, evaluate alternative materials, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (CIPS/CPP/CSCP) is a plus.

Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in construction procurement.

Technical Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, subcontracting, and vendor management.
