Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of traded goods and raw materials
• Handling all commercial relations with suppliers.
• Managing the purchase contract and price negotiations.
• Management of orders and documentation
• Negotiating on the scope of commercial, technical and legal terms such as costs, payment, delivery etc.
• Evaluating supplier performances and executing cost analysis.
• Searching and introducing alternative suppliers.
• Investigating opportunities for cost improvement, searching alternative sources
• Leading sourcing for new projects’ sourcing
• Reporting regularly about purchasing operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/Economics and relevant areas.
• Min. 5 years’ experience in purchasing, preferably in Chemical industry.
• Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Pro-active and self-motivated, willing to take responsibility
• Highly developed analytical skills, result and quality-oriented
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Possible residency in Istanbul Europe side,
• Military obligation must be completed for male candidates
