Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Location: Bommasandra, Bengaluru

Reports to: procurement manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management.

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance assessments and address any issues promptly.

2. Purchasing and Negotiation.

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve the best value for the organization.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Track and manage procurement budgets and cost-saving initiatives.

3. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure seamless delivery and inventory flow.

4. Compliance and Documentation.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

5. Process Improvement.

  • Continuously review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Identify market trends and innovations that can benefit the organization’s procurement strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management (e.g., 3–5 years).
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Procurement (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM, CIPS).
  • Familiarity with sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,299.31 - ₹47,188.25 per month
