Core Purpose
- As a Procurement Specialist at SJA Solutions, your primary role will involve overseeing the purchasing of technology equipment, maintaining relationships with our vendors as well as seeking out new vendor relationships, inventory management, and conducting detailed audits of vendor invoices to maximize profits while reducing losses.
This position will be focused on:
- Procuring technology equipment including hardware, software, and licensing.
- Engaging with existing vendors and building relationships with new ones.
- Conduct detailed audits of vendor invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
- Managing inventory, which includes shipping and receiving.
- Communicating with internal team members and clients regarding expectations of product availability, ship dates and arrival dates.
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Willingness to Communicate: Must be open to communicating via phone, email, and in person.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Customer Service Skills: Exhibits strong customer service skills.
- Adaptability: Capable of managing and adapting to constant change, continuously refining and innovating processes.
- Attention to Detail: Pays meticulous attention to detail.
- Process Adherence: Demonstrates the ability to follow established processes.
- Follow-Through: Shows strong commitment to follow-through to ensure accuracy.
- Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of server and computer hardware is a plus.
Applicants with any of the following will be given preference:
- Relevant Work experience or education
- History working in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office – (1 year experience)
