Role Summary

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and alignment with Astra Tech’s strategic goals. The role involves managing sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on building reliable vendor relationships to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluation.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to secure optimal commercial and legal conditions.
  • Build, manage, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Operations) to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and regular reviews, driving continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support risk management by ensuring supplier due diligence, KYC, and business continuity planning.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in technology, fintech.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract law.
  • Proven negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
