Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to assist in sourcing, procurement, and inventory management activities specific to the Kuwait market. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing and supplier management within the F&B industry in Kuwait.

1. Supplier Management:

· Identify and evaluate local and international suppliers for food ingredients, packaging materials, and other necessary items.

· Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

2. Purchase Order Processing:

· Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.

· Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and shipment arrangements.

3. Inventory Management:

· Monitor inventory levels and stock movements to ensure availability of materials and ingredients while minimizing excess inventory.

· Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

4. Cost Analysis:

·Analyse pricing proposals, quotes, and contracts from suppliers to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

· Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.

5. Quality Assurance:

· Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

· Address any quality issues or concerns with suppliers in a timely manner.

6. Documentation and Record-keeping:

· Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and supplier information.

· Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.

7. Market Research:

· Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and supplier developments relevant to the F&B industry in Kuwait.

Research new suppliers and products to expand the company's supplier base and product offerings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD500.000 - KD600.000 per month
