Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors based on price, quality, and delivery time.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods/services.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier performance.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, legal) to understand procurement needs and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.
  • Develop and maintain supplier databases and procurement documentation.
  • Resolve issues related to order discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery delays.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting procurement costs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience preferred.
