Procurement Specialist – Medical, Surgical & Pharmaceutical Vendors

Location:

Remote / Pakistan-based (Preferred: Lahore, Sialkot, Karachi, or major medical supply hubs)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a freelance procurement specialist who already has strong contacts and relationships with medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical product vendors in Pakistan. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating supply for export orders to Afghanistan, ensuring the best prices, quality, and reliability of suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and connect with reliable vendors in the medical, surgical, and pharma sectors.
• Obtain quotations, samples, and product catalogs for exportable items.
• Evaluate suppliers for price competitiveness, product quality, and export readiness.
• Coordinate procurement, packaging, and documentation for export shipments.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers.
• Negotiate favorable pricing and credit terms where possible.
• Prepare and maintain a vendor database for recurring and future orders.
• Work closely with our export and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and compliance with Afghan import requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong network in medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical industries in Pakistan.
• Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or product sourcing.
• Familiarity with export processes, customs documentation, and packaging standards.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in procurement or export trading.
• Background in medical equipment, disposables, or pharma supply chains.
• Prior work with Afghanistan or regional markets is a strong plus.

Employment Type:

Freelance / Contract-based (Project or ongoing basis)

Compensation:

Commission + performance-based bonuses (negotiable depending on vendor network and deal value)
