Procurement Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing daily procurement operations to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and supplies needed for FMCG and manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with procurement policies, maintains strong supplier relationships and drives continuous improvement to support production efficiency and business growth.

Supervise the end-to-end procurement cycle including sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.

Ensure all materials and services are procured at the right quantity, quality, price, and time.

Coordinate with production, planning, warehouse, and finance to ensure seamless supply operations.

Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to enhance the supplier base.

Conduct regular negotiations to secure the best commercial and contractual terms.

Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, service) and take corrective actions when necessary.

Maintain vendor files, contracts, and agreements as per company standards.

Analyze procurement expenditures and identify saving opportunities.

Implement strategic sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives.

Ensure compliance with approved budgets and contribute to annual procurement planning.

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and internal audit requirements.

Review and validate purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Maintain accurate and updated procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.

Collaborate with the Quality, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure specifications are met.

Support new product development (NPD) projects by sourcing new materials or suppliers.

Coordinate with Finance for invoice matching, payment terms, and resolving discrepancies

Supervise and coach procurement officers and buyers.

Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure continuous skill development.

Promote teamwork, efficiency, and adherence to procurement best practices.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related field.

5–7 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in FMCG or Manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers, raw materials, packaging, and engineering spare parts.

Solid experience in strategic sourcing and negotiation.

Strong analytical and cost optimization skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Excellent communication and vendor management skills.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.
