Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Manage local and international procurement operations, negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal prices and terms.
• Partner with engineering teams to review and validate technical specifications for materials and equipment.
• Oversee the acquisition of heavy equipment, spare parts, bus components, elevators, and escalators.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and present regular procurement performance reports to executive management.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline procurement processes, with strong preference for SAP expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement.
• Strong knowledge of international procurement, import regulations, and supply chain management practices.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while driving strategic procurement initiatives.
