Procurement & Technical Engineer

Our tam is expanding and we are looking for Technical Engineer

1. Responsibilities

1. Review design drawings and BOQs to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates

2. Source and evaluate materials, finishes, furniture, and suppliers based on quality, availability, and budget

3. Review and coordinate between the drawings, BOQ, & specifications to ensure full alignment on the design items

4. Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare comparative analysis sheets for material and furniture selections

5. Support the design team with technical data and market alternatives

6. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and site engineers to confirm specifications and technical requirements

7. Maintain an updated supplier and vendor database (materials, furniture, and subcontractors)

8. Track project budgets, variations, and value engineering proposals to maintain cost control

2. Requirements / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or Architecture
• Arabic Speaker with good/excellent English
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or/and quantity surveying within the UAE interior or fit-out sector
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture available in the UAE market
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and cost estimation tools
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with designers and draughtsman

3. Preferable

• Strong vendor and supplier relations
• Female Candidate
• Prier experiences working in construction (Main Contractor) companies
• CIPS is a plus
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus
