  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions, clarifications, and priorities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to define and refine product features, functionality, and user stories
  • Collaborate with the scrum master for the timelines of software deliverables
  • Ability to oversee different products and understanding the interdependencies/integration touchpoints among the products
  • Develop and maintain a clear and well-prioritized product backlog, ensuring it reflects customer needs, market trends, and business objectives
  • Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements that guide the development process
  • Review the SRS documents shared by business analysts and share the business Impact analysis with respect to the product
  • Ability to communicate any technical challenges with respect to the product, stemming from the business requirements shared by the customer.
  • Prioritize and sequence the backlog to maximize value, considering factors such as user impact, technical feasibility, and business value
  • Provide ongoing direction and guidance to development teams during sprints, ensuring a shared understanding of the product vision and goals
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure the team's progress aligns with the product roadmap
  • Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders and customers, incorporating insights to refine product features and enhance user experiences
  • Make swift and informed decisions during development to address unexpected challenges and seize opportunities
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable tasks for the development team
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends to ensure our products remain relevant and innovative
  • Collaborate with design and user experience teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Drive the product's success through effective communication, monitoring key performance indicators, and addressing any issues that arise
  • Conduct regular demos and presentations to showcase product features and updates to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in computer science or relevant field
  • Minimum 9-10 years of relevant work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and domain in which the organization operates. Understanding market trends, competitors, and customer needs is crucial for strategic product decisions
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, including development teams, business analysts, designers, senior management, and external partners or clients
  • Strong leadership qualities to guide and inspire the development team, set a clear product vision, and lead strategic product planning
  • The ability to make critical decisions, resolve conflicts, and provide clear direction to the development team, often in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including coaching and mentoring less experienced product team members
