Echotech is a specialized acoustic product manufacturer and consultancy brand. We engineer and produce high-performance architectural sound treatments—including PET acoustic panels, custom baffles, and diffusers—that optimize the acoustics of commercial, educational, and residential environments.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a versatile designer with a foundational background in product or furniture design to apply their technical detailing skills to the acoustic manufacturing space. You will manage client requirements from the initial brief to the final quotation. In addition to technical drafting and cost estimation, this role requires proactive sales outreach—connecting directly with architects and industry professionals to pitch Echotech’s products and secure new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their space dimensions, aesthetic preferences, and acoustic requirements.
• Technical Drafting: Create precise shop drawings, product detailing, and 2D/3D layouts (using AutoCAD and SketchUp) for manufacturing and client approval.
• Costing & Quotations: Accurately calculate material requirements, labor, and production costs to generate competitive client quotations.
• Architectural Sales & Outreach: Proactively identify and reach out to external architects, consultants, and contractors to showcase Echotech’s acoustic products and drive B2B sales.
• Project Coordination: Ensure product design specifications align seamlessly with factory manufacturing capabilities and client timelines.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of professional experience in product design or furniture design (we value the strong technical detailing and manufacturing knowledge this background provides).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in drafting and 3D modeling software (AutoCAD and SketchUp are required).
• Commercial Awareness: Solid numerical skills with the ability to calculate material yields, estimate costs, and draft professional business quotations.
• Communication & Sales: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to actively pitch products to architects and negotiate deals.
• Self-Starter: Highly motivated with a proactive approach to sales, outreach, and business development.
