Job Overview

Al-Haadi Mobilya is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Product Designer to lead the design and development of innovative furniture products. The role involves translating market trends, brand identity, and customer needs into functional, aesthetically refined, and commercially viable furniture designs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s product portfolio while collaborating closely with production, sales, and sourcing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end furniture product design from concept to production
• Develop original design concepts aligned with brand vision and market trends
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and prototypes for manufacturing
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency
• Research materials, finishes, hardware, and sustainable design solutions
• Oversee product testing, refinement, and quality assurance
• Mentor and guide junior designers within the design team
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams for product launches and presentations
• Continuously evaluate existing products for design improvement and innovation

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related field
• 6–8+ years of experience in furniture or product design, with at least 2 years in a senior role
• Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
• High proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp, or similar)
• Excellent aesthetic sense with attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial and production constraints

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with upholstered furniture, modular systems, or luxury furniture design
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and eco-friendly production practices
• Exposure to international furniture markets and trends

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
