Job Summary: Responsible for driving profitable growth in the assigned product(s) making daily decisions involving cost, price, margin, product improvements and life cycle management, and project management of all activities required to launch and sustain the assigned products. Provide technical support to customers and internal personnel as required and assist in all aspects of the sales cycle, including regular customer interface. Work closely with customers, sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and executive management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify unmet market needs for medical interconnect products, derive product solutions to meet these needs, and execute product growth strategies for the assigned products.
  • Oversee projects related to the creation, advancement, and introduction of selected product solutions.
  • Establish and manage cost, price, and margin expectations for assigned products and opportunities as well as project manage the creation and launch of the assigned products.
  • Provide application expertise and support design-in activities
  • Regular interface with customers, including face-to-face visits
  • Facilitate the inception, development and launch of new products
  • Maintain competitive intelligence to properly position our products in the market.
  • Manage promotional marketing and communication activities including press releases, advertising, trade shows, e-marketing, and all web site content

Skills/Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or technical degree preferred)
  • Three to 5 years’ experience working with electromechanical components/assemblies.
  • One to 3 years’ experience in product management and project management.
  • Strong competence with MS tools.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to identify and create compelling value propositions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and MRP systems.
