Product Specialist - Pharmaceutical (Abu Dhabi)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Medical Representative to join our Pharmaceutical Division. The ideal candidate will have strong access to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the private sector , particularly those specializing in diabetes and chronic diseases . Access to governmental healthcare channels will be considered a strong advantage.

The role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, strong scientific knowledge, and a proven ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with HCPs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and detail the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and other stakeholders).
  • Focus on therapeutic areas of diabetes and chronic disease management to drive market penetration and sales growth.
  • Develop, manage, and expand strong relationships with private sector HCPs; establish trust and credibility through scientific knowledge and professional engagement.
  • Leverage access to governmental healthcare channels, where applicable, to maximize product reach.
  • Organize and conduct product presentations, workshops, and scientific meetings in collaboration with the medical and marketing teams.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry within the UAE - Abu Dhabi.
  • Strong network and access to HCPs in the private sector (diabetes and chronic diseases focus).
  • Previous exposure to governmental healthcare channels is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong scientific and product knowledge with the ability to discuss treatment protocols.
  • Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
