What you’ll be doing
- Driving sales across cycling retail, workshop services, bike fitting, and F&B
- Building strong relationships with customers and the wider cycling community
- Delivering a premium, personalised in-store experience
- Supporting Ventum community rides, events, and brand activations
- Using CRM and tech tools to follow up customers and drive repeat business
- Supporting store operations, stock standards, and SOPs
- Creating content and supporting marketing activity during quieter periods
You’ll work closely with the Store Manager and the wider team to help grow the Ventum presence in the Middle East, while keeping standards high and the vibe positive.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Title: PRODUCT SPECIALIST
Department: VENTUM & Cycling/Endurance
Reports To: Store Manager
The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and supporting the store's operations to enhance the brand's visibility and customer engagement in the Middle East. This role involves working closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and provide a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Relationship Management:
- Drive sales to achieve store targets across Cycling Retail, Workshop, Bike Fitting, and F&B functions.
- Develop and nurture sales leads and existing customer relationships.
- Provide exceptional customer service to create a premium and unique shopping experience.
- Participate in and support VENTUM community events, including scheduled rides.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Support initiatives to improve overall customer experience and foster brand loyalty.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other tech tools to track customer interactions and drive repeat sales.
- Proactively analyze customer data to identify opportunities for personalized service and targeted marketing efforts.
- Gather and utilize customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and address any feedback to improve customer satisfaction.
Store Operations Support:
- Assist the Store Manager in overall store management, including inventory control and store environment maintenance.
- Implement and uphold best practices and SOPs as defined by the Store Manager.
- Monitor and report on key store metrics such as revenue, footfall, sell-through rates, stock aging, replenishment, and customer inquiries.
Brand Strategy and Marketing:
- Support the development and implementation of brand strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive store traffic.
- Utilize downtime to create content for social media and other marketing channels to promote the VENTUM brand.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Store Manager and other team members to ensure a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of store operations and customer service.
Culture and Engagement:
- Actively contribute to the company culture by participating in company-wide initiatives and events.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.

Tech Savviness:
- Demonstrate proficiency with sales software, CRM systems, and other tech tools.
