Product & Trade Marketing Manager –FMCG

Tchibo Turkey has been operating in Turkey for more than 15 years and is a highly successful organization with growth plans and over 400 employees. There are 54 Tchibo stores in 12 different cities in Turkey.

Tchibo is a unique company because it operates both as a retailer and coffee shop, and also sells its FMCG branded products through retail chains and its own online store. Initially focused more on non-food retail in Turkey, over recent years Tchibo Turkey has emphasized its coffee heritage and expertise in its local offering.

We’re looking for a Product & Trade Marketing Manager – FMCG to join our growing organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of trade marketing or sales experience in FMCG
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Strong strategic, analytical thinking, problem solving skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Office


Job Description

  • Will be responsible for coffee, coffee machines and accessories products in Free Trade channel
  • Work closely with key stakeholders including brand marketing, sales, finance, purchasing teams
  • Participate monthly global marketing & trade marketing meetings and implement global strategies and marketing plans to local campaign plans
  • Fully understand and prioritize category/channel needs and develop & implement trade marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness, market share and revenue growth
  • Track financial performance of the category and take necessary actions to achieve P&L targets
  • Manage trade spending process by taking active role in planning and directing activities
  • Contribute to JBP processes of key customers and distributors
  • Analyze Nielsen data, market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize existing strategies
  • Manage the process of Point of Sales Materials (POSM), including budget management, design, production, stock, and distribution aligning with category and channel requirements in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Participate actively in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to proactively contribute to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Plan distributor and field visits
