Production Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join on a contract basis in Abu Dhabi. This role requires someone who can work independently while leading in their field, with deep technical expertise and the ability to manage complex operations from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute frac jobs, ensuring all work is carried out safely and according to plan.
• Supervise operations to confirm alignment with project requirements and best practices.
• Apply solid global frac experience to optimize performance and outcomes.
• Incorporate artificial lift expertise across a range of technologies, including ESP, gas lift, and sucker rod systems.
• Integrate well integrity considerations into all planning and design activities.
• Prioritize HSE in every stage of engineering design and project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven global frac experience, with a track record of successfully planning and executing frac jobs.
• Strong background in artificial lift technologies, including ESP, gas lift, and sucker rod.
• Demonstrated expertise in well integrity and its application in project planning and design.
• Strong commitment to HSE standards and practices.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Contract Details

• 6-month initial contract, with extension.
• Based full-time in Abu Dhabi.
