Job Description
A Chemical Engineer – Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing chemical production processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and product quality. The role involves monitoring plant operations, optimizing production processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control chemical production processes to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and cost control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues during production.
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare production reports, process documentation, and operational data analysis.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and safety teams.
- Implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ensure proper handling of chemicals and raw materials.
Requirements / Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in chemical plant or manufacturing production (typically 2–5 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes, process control, and plant operations.
- Understanding of safety standards and industrial regulations.
- Ability to analyze process data and solve technical problems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with process simulation or control systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shift operations if required.

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
