Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Engineer with a strong background in CNC machining to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and improving manufacturing efficiency—particularly within CNC operations. This role bridges engineering and shop floor operations, playing a key role in continuous improvement and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and optimize CNC machining processes to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Set up and validate new CNC jobs, including tooling and fixture design in collaboration with tooling teams.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify process bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with design, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure product integrity and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Train and support machine operators on best practices, safety protocols, and new processes.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production or quality issues.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, tooling, and CNC programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role with CNC exposure.
  • Proficient in CNC programming (G-code/M-code), machine setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and materials.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent Command of English.
