Production Engineer – Spot weld

Position: Production Engineer – Spot Weld
Qualification: BE/Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Production
Experience: 3+ Years in precision sheet metal parts/assembly production

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of precision sheet metal fabrication & spot welding (AWS & EN standards).
• Experience with measuring instruments, welding processes (GMAW/GTAW preferred), and fabrication equipment (laser cutting, turret punch, press brake, riveting, drilling, tapping, MIG/TIG/spot welding, surface finishing, powder coating).
• Ability to read engineering drawings & specifications.
• Exposure to SAP MM & PP modules preferred.
• Team handling experience (20 members).
• Knowledge of AS9100D QMS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute production as per work orders, route cards & control plans.
• Ensure quality through in-process checks and compliance with tolerances.
• Coordinate preventive & breakdown maintenance.
• Track OEE, plan vs. actual, and report deviations.
• Train and guide team members to improve skills & performance.
• Support aerospace projects and maintain QMS procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
