Production Head - Textile Sector

Gatron Industries Limited, one of the leading manufacturing sector operates across Pakistan. We are recruiting senior level profiles for production quality department for our plant based in HUB Chowki.

The incumbent of this position is responsible to lead textile production division including Spinning, Texturizing & Knitting departments and achieve the desired targets according to the set standards through effective utilization of resources. Furthermore, maintain smooth operations, optimize costs, and ensure a safe and productive working environment, while ensuring delivery of products on time. In addition, ensure that the objectives are achieved through fully trained people working in a dynamic and fulfilling work environment promoting respect and growth through learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor day to day operations of Spinning, Texturizing & Knitting, and proactively address any issues or challenges impacting the effectiveness and efficiency of the plant resources including men, material, and machine.
• Ensure that departments are following established production schedules and procedures to achieve the targets in-line with set quality standards and maximum utilization of resources.
• Provide analysis on critical or technical problems faced during production operations. Gather input from stakeholders and suggest the way forward. Additionally, ensure that problems are identified through root cause analysis to provide durable solutions.
• Ensure that the equipment is operated in-line with the recommendations provided by the original equipment manufacturer, through effective monitoring. Oversee the availability of equipment for preventive and predictive maintenance, as per schedules developed by the engineering department.
• Implement cost-saving and reduction strategies by optimizing production operations and processes, manpower optimization, and ensuring effective utilization of resources.
• Oversee machine modifications and upgrades to improve operational efficiency and productivity, while continuously monitoring and improving manpower efficiency to achieve production targets.
• Set yearly quality objectives in-line with the company’s goal and strategy, by coordinating with the department heads of Spinning, Texturizing & Knitting. Also develop action plans and provide guidance to execute the activities according to the action plan.
• Suggest new projects along with the feasibility studies to improve the output, quality, and plant’s efficiencies. In addition, ensure the execution of the approved projects within the specified timelines and budget.
• Review the reports of unforeseen disruptions/breakdowns, identify the reasons, and take effective measures to control re-occurrence.
• Analyse the raw material, inventory, production and waste reports and records to highlight non-productive activities/procedures with an aim to improve them.
• Review and finalize the annual budgets for the Textile Production and ensure regular budget monitoring and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, Applied Chemistry, or a related field.
• 15+ years in QC/QA, including leadership roles.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis acumen.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Adaptability, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement.
