Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

As part of the production operations team, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of utilities and production equipment, including compressors, refrigerant dryers, lifts, knitting machines, and washing machines.
• Monitor daily air consumption and electricity usage, preparing monthly analysis reports to identify trends, highlight inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Manage procurement of spare parts and materials for knitting machines and utilities, including raising purchase orders in the MRP system, tracking deliveries, and ensuring accurate system entries.
• Maintain effective coordination with suppliers and vendors, ensuring smooth supply flow and timely processing of payments in collaboration with the finance team.
• Prepare and present the Daily Production Report, capturing production efficiencies, machine utilization, and wastages.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical and operational issues affecting performance.
• Support initiatives to improve process efficiency, reduce wastage, and optimize energy consumption.
• Assist in training operators/technicians on machine handling, troubleshooting, and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience (textile or manufacturing sector preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of production-related responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
