Production Manager

Job Title: Production Manager — Food Manufacturing

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

We're looking for a Production Manager with solid food manufacturing experience to take full ownership of production operations — from planning and scheduling to execution and quality assurance. You'll lead multiple production lines, drive efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure every product leaving the facility meets the highest standards of food safety and quality. This isn't a single-line supervisory role — you'll be in charge of multi-line production planning, team management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. If you're the kind of leader who sees a 3% yield loss and can't sleep until it's fixed, this is your operation to run.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations across multiple lines and ensure targets are met in volume, quality, and timeline

• Plan and organize production schedules aligned with operational targets and demand forecasts

• Improve production efficiency, increase output, and reduce waste and downtime through continuous process optimization

• Implement and monitor food safety standards including HACCP and GMP across all production stages

• Manage and lead production teams — task allocation, performance tracking, coaching, and motivation

• Analyze production KPIs (yield, waste, downtime, labor efficiency) and take corrective actions to improve results

• Calculate and monitor product cost pricing and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality

• Develop and update SOPs and operational procedures to drive operational excellence

• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless production flow

• Ensure compliance with SFDA regulations and all applicable food safety requirements



Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years in food production or food manufacturing (required)

• Proven track record in improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and raising product quality

• Experience managing multiple production lines simultaneously (required)

• Experience in product cost calculation and cost optimization


Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required)


Certifications:

• HACCP certification (required)

• GMP certification (preferred)

• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or any continuous improvement certification (a plus)


Skills:

• Production planning, scheduling, and capacity management

• Multi-line production management and team leadership

• Food cost calculation and yield analysis

• Waste reduction and continuous improvement methodologies

• KPI analysis and corrective action implementation

• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of SFDA, HACCP, and GMP requirements


Language:

• Arabic — fluent (required)

• English — professional proficiency (required)
