Blu Sleep Products LLC is a South Florida-based foam manufacturing company producing high-quality products for the bedding and sleep industry. We are committed to precision, quality craftsmanship, and operational excellence. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven Production Manager to join our team and help lead our factory operations.

Position Summary

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of daily factory operations at our South Florida pillow manufacturing facility. This role requires a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable on the production floor and at the planning table. You will work closely with our VP Operations and Owner and be an integral part of a tight-knit, family-run business where your contributions are seen and valued every day.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand
• Coordinate workflow across departments to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource use
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans proactively to address delays or bottlenecks

Purchasing & Inventory

• Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies needed for production
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to avoid shortages or overstock

Production & Floor Operations

• Actively participate in and support production floor activities as needed
• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance and output goals
• Ensure the factory environment meets safety, cleanliness, and operational standards

Quality Control

• Implement and oversee quality control processes throughout the production cycle
• Identify defects or inconsistencies and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain product quality standards consistent with Advanced Foam Manufacturing quality standards

President and Owner Collaboration

• Work directly with the VP Operations and Owner on production reporting, KPIs, and continuous process improvements
• Participate in operational planning meetings and contribute insights from the production floor
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production management, or factory operations (all levels considered)
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Hands-on work ethic — comfortable working on the floor alongside the production team
• Solid understanding of purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain basics
• Experience with quality control processes and a commitment to product standards
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus given South Florida work environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools; ERP/production software experience a plus

Pay: $55,647.75 - $67,016.64 per year
