Production Manager – Handmade Footwear

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production targets based on orders and inventory levels.
• Supervise artisans, pattern makers, cutters, stitchers, and finishing staff to ensure production efficiency and craftsmanship.
• Ensure all shoes are produced to brand quality standards — focusing on stitching, finishing, fitting, and durability.
• Coordinate with the design team for sample development and product improvements.
• Oversee material sourcing, inventory, and stock control of leather, soles, lining, and accessories.
• Implement lean production practices to minimize waste and improve turnaround time.
• Track and record production data — output, defects, and material usage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Train and develop artisans on improved techniques and quality standards.
• Communicate production progress and challenges to senior management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Deep knowledge of handmade footwear production techniques (cutting, stitching, lasting, finishing, etc.).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Ability to manage timelines and production schedules.
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making under pressure.
• Familiarity with tools, machinery, and materials used in shoe manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of costing and inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs170,000.00 per month
