Production Manager (Paper bags manufacturing)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure quality standards, optimize resources, and lead a production team to achieve company targets. This role reports directly to the Factory Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and manage production to ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, BRC, and safety standards.
• Control scrap levels (<5%) and optimize use of raw materials (paper, glue, ink).
• Lead, train, and motivate the production team while maintaining a safe workplace.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
• Track and report production metrics including Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Oversee audits and uphold quality certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of production management experience, preferably in paper bag manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and resource optimization.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
