Production Planning & Control
- Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for wooden doors.
- Ensure optimal use of labor, machinery, and raw materials (wood, veneers, hardware, finishes).
- Monitor production output, reduce wastage, and improve efficiency.
Quality Management
- Ensure all wooden doors meet design specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes at each stage of production.
- Address defects, rework issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise, train, and evaluate production supervisors, machine operators, carpenters, and helpers.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with HR for manpower planning and skill development.
Materials & Inventory Management
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of timber, panels, adhesives, finishes, and hardware.
- Control inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess stock.
- Reduce material wastage and optimize cutting and machining processes.
Machinery & Maintenance
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of woodworking machines (CNC, panel saws, moulders, presses, sanding and finishing equipment).
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce workplace safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, environmental regulations, and factory standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized production facility.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with design, sales, and installation teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Prepare production reports on output, efficiency, wastage, and manpower.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to process improvements.
