Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Planner / Logistics Coordinator who will support daily production scheduling, inventory coordination, and logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn. Bilingual fluency in Korean and English is required to support communication with internal teams and global partners.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules
  • Coordinate material availability, inventory levels, and delivery timelines
  • Communicate with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners
  • Track shipments, update documentation, and resolve delivery issues
  • Support production planning meetings and provide status updates
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP or planning systems (training provided)
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow

Inventory & Material Coordination

  • Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure material availability
  • Minimize excess inventory while preventing stockouts
  • Support cycle count and inventory accuracy initiatives

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales teams
  • Communicate schedule changes and production priorities
  • Support new product launches and engineering change management

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track KPIs (On-Time Delivery, Production Efficiency, Inventory Turns, Scrap Rate)
  • Prepare management reports and participate in production meetings
  • Analyze production bottlenecks and recommend improvement actions

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives
  • Improve planning system accuracy (ERP/MRP data integrity)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bilingual: Korean & English (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry)
  • Experience in production, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus but not required
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be trainedPreferred:
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma
  • SAP or similar ERP experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
