PRODUCTION PLANNING AND LOGISTICS MANAGER

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for a Production Planning and Logistics Manager to our client, a leading multinational organization operating in the manufacturing industry, located in Çorlu.

The Production Planning and Logistics Manager will lead all planning, scheduling, material flow, warehouse, and inbound logistics activities at the plant. The role involves aligning production capacity with customer demand, optimizing inventory levels, enhancing inbound logistics performance, and ensuring compliance with Free Zone customs regulations. The manager will act as the key integrator between production and supply chain, ensuring stable, accurate, and cost-efficient material flow to support seamless manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the master production schedule (MPS) and align production plans with demand forecasts.
• Manage material requirement planning (MRP) to ensure timely material availability and inventory optimization.
• Oversee Free Zone customs processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and proper documentation for imports/exports.
• Optimize inbound logistics, warehouse layout, and internal material flow using systems like FIFO and Kanban.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Quality, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and develop Planning, Warehouse, Inbound Logistics, and Customs teams by setting clear KPIs and providing coaching/training.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Plan Adherence, Material Availability, Inventory Turnover, and Warehouse Accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in production planning, material planning, MRP, or supply chain roles in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Proven expertise in capacity planning, production scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Experience in Free Zone or customs-regulated environments.
• Background in industrial manufacturing (automotive, white goods, or similar sectors).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, MPS/MRP, and inventory control systems.
• Expertise in Free Zone customs processes and regulatory compliance.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• KPI-driven working style with a focus on continuous improvement.
